Lovely spacious terrace with table , chairs and gazebo. Staff were friendly and helpful. Speaking from a disability perspective (wheelchair user) the apartment itself was easily accessible throughout. The shower was a bit of a struggle as not 'wet room' but manageable - the shower stool initially provided was not suitable and collapsed but manager provided a more sturdy chair immediately when we told them about this. The access from the pavement into the main property ( for wheelchair)was via a short but steep tiled slope and this required the assistance of another. The location is superb - right on the seafront - the sound of the sea audible at all times. Riva ligure is a small commune but with plenty of restaurants and a small supermarket a few minutes walk away from the apartment and stony beaches. It is a good Base to discover the ligurian coast with the coastal road providing breathtaking scenery. We walked along the cycle path to Taggia where there are more accessible beaches and, in the opposite direction, to San Stefano - both flat and accessible walks.
